How You Can Support JE
Jakmel Ekspresyon (JE), jecenter.org, provides Haitians of the Jacmel area with programming to learn skills that will impact their lives and community. Here is a sampling of the classes they offer:
- Computer Classes
- 9 month Sewing Program
- Screen Printing Program
- Recording Studio
- Environmental Photography Class
- Academic & Mental Health Lecture
JE is excited to share that they are currently building the first of three buildings of their Master Campus Plan. It will increase student capacity and classes available. It’s a dream come true for JE. They partnered with URBD, a long standing organization in Jacmel, on the 1/4 acre of land and the building.
Current Funding Needs:
- $3,000 for an outside classroom
